Growing Interventional Joint & Spine Pain Management group needs a fulltime Anesthesiologist with Fellowship in Pain Management or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician in New Brunswick, NJ. $30K Signing bonus! Lucrative salary – Minimum of $300K up to total income of $850K which includes bonuses!  Must be BC or BE. Physician will perform procedures such as lumbar discography, cervical/lumbar facet blocks, percutaneous lumbar discectomy, major joint injections, trigger point injections, SI injections, in addition to providing Anesthesia for pain procedures. Established patient base. Work Monday To Friday Only with NO WEEKENDS & CALL.
 
Position Title:  Interventional Pain Physician or Anesthesiologist
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities:  Interventional Pain Physician or Anesthesiologist
 
    • Evaluation & examination of musculoskeletal problems.
    • Order diagnostic testing and correlate clinically
    • Provide Endoscopic spine procedures.
    • Provide all Interventional Pain Management procedures as needed.
    • Write and monitor general musculoskeletal Rx.
    • Provide high-quality cost-effective medical care.
    • Work in conjunction with the medical directors, quality improvement, utilization management, and risk management.
    • Comply with medical records and risk assessment documentation policies/procedures, quality initiatives and electronic medical record usage.
    • Review reports regarding utilization and high-risk patients, and utilize the information in the delivery of quality, cost effective health care services
    • Coordinate and cooperate as part of the patient care team with the center administration, peers, clinical and non-clinical staff
    • Maintain appropriate patient records & satisfaction standards.
 
Education & Experience: Interventional Pain Physician or Anesthesiologist
 
    • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
    • Current valid state physician MD medical license
    • Board certification or eligibility with intent to certify required
    • Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress)
    • 1+ year MD experience pain management preferred but new resident grads welcome
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
    • Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
